I’m a dedicated young woman from Colombia, deeply involved in peace and security research in Latin America. I’ve extensively studied security in conflict-affected rural zones and am intrigued by criminal-state dynamics and state-building’s impact on criminal groups. I’ve facilitated dialogues connecting government bodies with conflict-impacted communities and contributed years to a human rights organization, enhancing mediation skills among diverse groups. I also advise on the UN’s Youth, Peace, and Security resolutions. Outside work, I enjoy photography and swimming with sharks.
